Member Help 

Logging in to the IWC Amsterdam Members Area

The Members Area on iwcamsterdam.nl is where you find the membership directory, newsletters, club documents and member events. You log in with your email address and a password you choose yourself. This guide takes about five minutes.

Before you start

Use the email address IWC Amsterdam has on file for you. That is the address this guide was sent to, and a different address will not work.

  • It works on a computer, tablet or phone, in any browser.

  • You set your password only once. After that you simply log in.

Step 1: Set your password

  1. Find the email from IWC Amsterdam asking you to create a password. If you cannot see it, check your junk or spam folder.

  2. Click the link or button in the email.

  3. Choose a password and type it twice to confirm. Pick something you will remember, or let your browser or password manager save it.

  4. Finish the steps on the screen. You may be logged in straight away.

 

If the link in the email no longer works, use "If you forget your password" below.

Step 2: Log in

  1. Go to iwcamsterdam.nl.

  2. Click Log In at the top right of the page. The box that opens may say "Sign Up". Do not sign up: click "Log In" at the top of that box.

  3. Type your email address and password, then click Log In.

  4. Once you are in, your name or initial appears at the top right. Open the Members page from the menu.

If the box says Sign Up instead, click the circled Log In link at the top:

On the Members page you will find:

  • the Membership Directory and the latest newsletters

  • the IWC Code of Conduct and Complaints Process

  • information on interest groups and activities

  • the Regulations and Bylaws

  • the approved minutes of the Annual General Meetings

  • the Photography and Media Policy

 

The member events and the IWC Contact Directory have their own pages in the same area.

Log out, and log back in

To log out, click your name or initial at the top right, then choose Log Out. Do this on any shared or public computer. On your own device you can stay logged in if you like.

 

Next time, repeat Step 2. You do not need a new password. If your browser offers to save your password, you can say yes to make logging in quicker.

If you forget your password

  1. Click Log In at the top right of the page.

  2. Click Forgot Password.

  3. Type the email address IWC Amsterdam has on file for you and send the request.

  4. Open the email you receive (check junk or spam if it is not in your inbox) and click the link.

  5. Choose a new password, then log in with it.

Updating your details

After you log in, click your name or initial at the top right and choose Account Settings. You can change your name, phone number and password there. Click Update Info to save.

Your entry in the members' directory is kept by the club, so please also email membership@iwcamsterdam.nl if your contact details change.

If something goes wrong

I cannot find the email

Check your junk or spam folder and search for "IWC Amsterdam". If it has not arrived after a day, write to membership@iwcamsterdam.nl.

I see "Sign Up" and not "Log In"

Do not sign up. Click "Already have an account? Log In" at the top of the form.

It does not recognize my email

You may be using a different address from the one we have on file. Write to us with the address you tried and we will check.

I cannot remember my password

Use "if you forget your password" above.

A document will not open

Try another browser or your phone, and tell us which document it was.
