Photography and Media Notice

International Women's Contact Amsterdam (IWC) regularly takes photos and videos at our events and activity group meetings to share on our public channels (e.g., website, Facebook, Instagram, and newsletters) for the purpose of growing our membership, keeping current members informed, and elevating our club's public profile.

Photographs are also shared between members on our member-only Facebook page and in the private activity WhatsApp groups. The purpose is to share photos between group members and inform other members about activities that have taken place or are available.

At events: photographers or group leaders will seek verbal consent before taking close-up photos.
Opt-out lanyard system: if you do not wish to appear in photos, please pick up an opt-out lanyard or badge at the registration desk. If you are wearing an opt-out lanyard and accidentally appear in a photo, that photo will not be published or retained.
Photo removal right: you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. If you accidentally appear in a published photo or change your mind, contact info@iwcamsterdam.nl and we will remove or blur the image immediately.

Your membership begins once your completed application form is approved and your fees are paid. Annual membership is from 1 May to 30 April and fees are non-refundable.

Club dues of €120 per year and a one-time joining fee of €15 (€135 total for new members) are due and payable by bank transfer, or online once your application is approved. Payment details will be sent to you once your completed application form is approved.
