Book clubs
There are two book clubs within the IWC. The books are chosen by the members of each group and discussed at their monthly meetings.

Dutch conversation
When learning another language you have to practice speaking it. The IWC gives beginners this opportunity and meets once a month.
We are looking for someone to start up this activity once more, many members would like to improve thier Dutch language skills.
Bridge
Within the IWC two bridge groups are organized geographically: the Amsterdam bridge group and the ‘t Gooi bridge group.
Amsterdam Bridge meets every Wednesday. The system commonly used is ACOL. The standard is intermediate with a mixture of competitive and informal sessions. The competitions are on the second and last Wednesday of each month. The other sessions are informal.

The IWC Choir
The IWC Choir is an enthusiastic group of amateurs who meet once a month. Only requirement – a good singing voice and a commitment to come to all the rehearsals! We meet for the joy of singing! To find out more about us …

Coffee in the City
Having a coffee in the city when you are new in town and don’t know anybody is a great way to meet new people and make friends. The coffee is consumed every 3rd Thursday of the month in Amsterdam.

Lunch with a bunch in ‘t Gooi
These IWC members meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at different restaurants in the ‘t Gooi area to enjoy food and each other’s company.

Sunday Brunch with Partners
Enjoy a Sunday brunch once a month with your husband and (new) IWC friends with their husbands. A great way to build up a social life when new in town, meet new friends or enjoy catching up with old ones. Dates and venues are announced on the web calendar and in the newsletter.
